| The Chain motto has and will always be "helping to produce SCHOLARSHIPS for GENTLEMEN playing BASEBALL". Our report card is helping a player get a scholarship for his or her education or helping an individual get drafted while insuring them a paid college education. We are proud that since 1993, we have had 205 of our players receive a college scholarship and 31 have been selected in the MLB amateur draft. In the past three years our 18 and under Chain team has been ranked in the top five nationally at the beginning of each season. Living up to these high expectations, our 18 and under team won the USSSA National Championship 4 different years, three years in a row 2001-2003, and in 2005. In 2004 our 18 and under team won the Southeastern Championship Series, our 19 and under team won the AAU National Championship, and our 11 and under team won the Barrett-Fletcher World Series, and in 2005 our 16 and under team won the IBF world series. Chain Baseball continued its success in 2006 winning 2 more national championships including the 18u Barrett-Fletcher World Series and the 14u BPA World Series as well as claiming the Perfect Game BCS Southeast Regional Crown. Overall Chain Baseball has won 11 National Championships over the past five seasons. Since the Chain organization has had so many players receive college scholarships and so many have been drafted, it has become a very popular hang out for professional scouts and coaches from both junior colleges and major colleges from all divisions. We make it a point to keep coaches and scouts informed as to what players we have and work very hard to get all of our players placed.
We welcome all teams to play under the Chain banner. There are many advantages to having your team play in the Chain organization; however there are certain guidelines that we require. Players that play for a Chain team must be dedicated and must live up to our motto of GENTLEMEN playing BASEBALL. Players who work hard together help each other earn scholarships. We would like to invite you to visit our Academy and look forward to meeting with you in the near future.
Sincerely,
William C "Mr. Buddy" Meyer |
